Deb moves to the rehab floor: 11/25/06, 3:15 PM E.S.T.
I spoke to Deb's mom yesterday. Deb and her family had Thanksgiving dinner together in Deb's room. Jodie from DE flew in for the day so that she could be with them too. Everone is in good spirits and are ready for Deb to start her treatment. She'll be moving to the rehabilitation floor at Cedars Sinai today. She'll be a therapists dream: there's nothing Deb loves more than to have someone set the bar and try her damnest to jump over it. If all goes well she may even return to work on a part time basis during her treatment.

Deb,

All right, that's what we've been waiting for!!! We all know that you'll definitely be making those therapists earn their pay, won't you. Keeping the positive thoughts and prayers coming your way! Can't wait till you're feeling yourself again.
Love you lots,
Nikki

Hi Deb,

Mike and I have been so worried about you. I spoke to Amy a couple of weeks ago at the hospital and emailed her as well to find out how you were doing. She was so nice to fill me in on your progress. I am faithful in logging in everyday to your blog. It sounds like you are doing better and better each day. You go girl, I can see you are a fighter not a quiter. I spoke with Jim Blanchett and it was nice to hear that Jana was one of your girlfriends from CT that visited you last week. That makes me happy! Please hurry and get well because we have a lot of fun stuff to plan and I really want to see you at work. We miss and love you. Hang in there Deb because you have a lot to live for!

Love Kim and Mike

Hi Deb,

We are very happy to read your words and finally figure out how to use this blog to get a word or two to you ( I'm sure your brother Dan would have also gotten a laugh out of me, Carolyn and Betty slugging it out at the computer......however, we did manage to screw in a light bulb in the meantime...)
Your words are inspired and we would like you to know that we love you.
I'm looking forward to seeing you in California soon...( I heard that Cliff has been getting away with murder with his lousy pasta sauce... I need to get out there soon and straighten things out).
Carolyn sends her very best...We'll talk soon!

Love, Dan and Carolyn

ALRIGHT!!! Rehab! Now you really have arrived in LA. I'm telling you, forget about this tumor story - You were in a mosh pit, "dancing" with some fabulously hot guy who drove you there in some expensive hot car, partied too much and ended up in the hospital with a scar on your scalp and a punk hairstyle. This is the sort of thing sells, baby...
Glad to hear you've got new challenges to meet. Perhaps a new caterer on the rehab floor?

Hey Deb,
Just to let you know I've been thinking about you and check up on your progress every day. Keep that positive attitude!! Your mental status definitely impacts your physical well-being. All the prayers and support you've been receiving don't hurt either! You are on my mind and in my heart,
"Jellybean"

Debbie,

This is great news! Perhaps your therapists might enjoy your version of the Elaine dance??? I am keeping you in my thoughts, prayers and heart.

Hey Debbie!

You go get 'em! I've been reading this every day and crossing all the fingers and toes I've got. In addition to talking them into a new catering service perhaps you can convince them to update the fashions of the hospital gowns? You're the right woman for that job! Seriously, I can't wait to read more good news on your progress! :) Jay, Sid, Ginger and Indigo send their best wishes to you!
Love, Michelle

Good for you Deb! I can't believe your strength. Hopefully your lung is back to normal by now and you can just concentrate on your rehab. I'm sure you'll give your therapists a run for their money....they've never seen you in a gym. :) I check in here every day to see how you're doing. Keep us updated on your progress.
Love, Donna

Debbie;
Besure to tell your therapist how flexible you are, and that you can make it through a doggie door without getting stuck.

Hi Deb,
You look marvelous! One thing though, I don't think Trinny and Susannah would agree that the hospital gown applies to "What you wear can change your life" Love You! Mary
