Deb's Photos: March 7th, 2007; 18:00 EST

Debbie has asked us to post these photos taken during and after her MRI yesterday. They are a sharp reminder of everything Debbie has been through and that through it all, she retains her beauty, grace and poise. We love her always and YOU GO GIRL!!!

You could SOOOO pull off a mohawk. That's the sexiest baldspot I've ever seen. Don't tell anybody I said so. I don't want a whole bunch of jealous women hounding me. Oh, and aren't you supposed to have on glasses, yellow pants and Crocs with that gown?
Love ya man!

I'm estatic to hear the MRI is clean-- and it will continue to be again and again. And no brain swelling on top of it. It is all amazing to Dr. Yu but we've believed in you all along. I still remember Alicyn and I having that conversation a few months back.

Fabulous Scabulous in the flesh- be still my heart!

I love the pic of you, Nala and Radar. Nala is her typical laid back "life is good", smiley faced, big-tongue panting, tail-wagging self. And Radar in his protective stance: covering you up like a bullet-proof vest and on the watch for the snipers.

Barbara is coming to visit-- hmmmm lots of potential pranks are coming to mind... Mollie and I will send you a full stratagy. Do you happen to have a blueprint of your house and property we can use?

Deb,

What amazing photos! I have to agree the profile suggests you could carry a mohawk well.

You are always stylin', no matter what.

Sending warm beacons to your brain,
Bea

I didn't realize it but Mollie is right Radar is protecting you with his stance. He's your knight and shining armore(doggy style).
Loved the picture of you in the gown. MRI's make me sleepy how about you?
lots of love

Okay, so, can you guys really notice the two pieces of the FS in the last picture?

Those who really know Radar and Briards can understand that he thinks he is a lap dog.... so, if he loves you, he will be on top of you! He would be attached to your skin if you would let him :-) He does this to everyone now which he hadn't done for a year or so! So, he's back on track!!!

Ant, the MRI definitely doesn't make me sleepy, it actually kept me WIDE AWAKE... I did deep breathing and visualization which is maybe why my MRI looked soooo clean!?

I'm so glad you guys all think that I still look okay! I'm actually thinking that I am now so much more mellow that maybe I can smile honestly in photos now ;-)

Love you guys!
Debbie

FS is in the center of the picture (edge of your hairline) and then is that also FS back at ~ the 3 o'clock location? That's what I thought anyway...
We need one of those yellow markers that you use to write on pictures like the NFL announcers use when they are describing a replay.

So Radar thinks he is a lapdog---hmmmmm... I'm glad he is being a good boy!!

I see the FS. It's a dot and a dash directly in the center. Morse code style. Hard to spot, though.

Wonder if there's a scab fairy like the tooth fairy? You could maybe score big with one as famous as the FS.

Now I'm waiting on an update about your dreams. I had a wacky one last night during a migraine that involved me pulling a cardinal (red bird) out of my nostril. It started out as something different, but that's what it ended up as. AND my mother was in it, so I guess it was a nightmare...

Love ya man!

Speaking of dreams.......I had one the other night about you Deb. It was about you getting married. Your dress was beautiful! And the ceremony was in a stone church in the woods. But, we couldn't find one of your bridesmaids, so we were hunting for her in a maze of red flowers.
But, Peter woke me up before I could finish the dream. Men!!
You look great in your pictures!

Looks like you're doing great! I came across your blog after a posting on the Briard List recently and as I catch up on past posts I can not believe the deja vu- we have had Briards for 16 years and in 1998 my wife was diagnosed with brain cancer. Following your story brings back so many memories. My wife had Oligodendroglioma and has been through surgery, 6 weeks of radiation and a year of chemo. The point of all of this is that after 9 years she is still alive today and cancer free. With the help of your doctors, friends and pups you will make it through this.

I have too much work to do today. My desk has too much paper on it.
I worked late last night at a carpentry job renovating a bar in the area and I'm tired, so in typical fashion I'm reaching around the piles on my desk to blog you because life is WAY too short to focus on all this crap.
It occurred to me that I should e-mail you a photo of my youngest brother's forehead scar. He was in an auto accident about a month ago and hit his head on the steering wheel resulting in a 7 inch gash. Pretty serious blood loss, etc. He works with the public in a computer software company and is a tad self conscious now. It doesn't help that he doesn't have your typical forehead, but has a fivehead, or even a sixhead due to his receeding hairline. I think you'll understand why we all think you look like a sexy mama with your invisible surgery line, and well-hidden bald spots.
Thank GOD it's St. Patty's day this weekend. I wish we were back in CT having our annual Bash.
Love ya man!
