Debbie's cousin, Jeanne, actually finished this quilt that Debbie had started for herself and never finished. She did an absolutely perfect job and Debbie would be proud! Thanks, Jeanne! Christy is Debbie's other wonderful cousin that has been a terrific source of support for my mom as she goes through this difficult time. Thanks, Christy!

Lots of love to all,
Amy

Last night I had a medium come to my house, which was fantastic! In addition to many of my relatives who have passed, Debbie DID come through. Her opening remark was that I need to wear pants that fit me better! I had to laugh outloud 'cause that is something Deb has told me repeatedly in the past. :) She knew that she passed from cancer and said that Debbie's passing was quick in the end and that Deb was happy about that because she didn't want people seeing her "looking" bad. (Anyone who knew Deb knew that she wanted qualitly of life for as long as she could, but didn't want the end to drag out with things occurring that she couldn't control, making her "look bad".) This woman said that Debbie is watching over all her neices and nephews where she is and is with them all of the time. She also said that she was having fun drinking margaritas and green apple martinis. Can anyone help me out with that? I'm not sure if those were Deb's choice of drink, so I don't know if that was right or not. The last thing she said was to watch out for the signs of Debbie, that it really is her letting me know she's here. I couldn't help thinking of all the signs she has already sent....the name on the boat, the flower that Kimmy came across, the license plate with her name on it I saw traveling to her wake, etc.... If those are any sign of things I should be looking for, I really won't have to look too hard! There were sooooo many other people who were coming through that Deb's "visit" was short, but I'm glad I heard from her.
Miss you lots Deb!

Great time with the medium it seemed!!! So glad to hear that Deb came thru, if only for a short time, I know we all wish we could have hours if not days with her! I can't wait to hear Deb's Moms' encounter....hope it's a good one too! Thanks for sharing Donna!

Thanks, Donna, for sharing your story. We all know just how much Debbie believed in life after death, so it's not surprising that she wants to come through and talk to us now. Thanks for the bit about nieces and nephews. I have always felt better knowing that Debbie was looking after them all from heaven.

NOW . . . if Debbie can just send some positive vibes and magic the Red Sox way then we will know that she has some power up in heaven! GO RED SOX!

agree with the Sox thing, Amy. I was at the game last night and it was just awful. I shall bring Debbie with me to the game tomorrow night (her"in Memory Of" card) and just know that she will bring the Sox and Dice-K much luck! If I get on the jumbotron again like last night, I will whip it out and show it to the Fenway faithful and all will kmnow that she is at the game.

Best to all family and friends as always.....

Great story, Donna. Thank you for sharing that.

Best,

Have fun at the game tonight, Barb. Thanks for bringing Debbie along. What did you have to do to make it onto the jumbotron?

Anonymous said...

LOL - I think it was more a product of where I was sitting rather than anything else (I actually got on twice - how scary is that?) but what I did after I saw my big mug up there was what most everyone else does - smile like an idiot, wave your arms up in the air and enjoy the 5 seconds of local fame. I am already nervous about tonight but like our chances against Kazmir.

No jumbotron last night, but the most amazing, thrilling come back that I have ever witnessed - what a game! Debbie was 'with' me and she does indeed have some power in heaven - how else does one explain such an improbable come back!! I went with a good friend from Pfizer and he was wearing a jacket that belonged to his Dad, who passed away earlier this year - perhaps he and Debbie combined to help the Sox - at least we think so :).

Barb: Glad to hear you stayed until the end. I almost went to bed before they started scoring runs, but I'm glad I didn't! Great game! Very tired today, but worth it! Thanks Debbie and Pfizer friend's father! Now just two more games!

Mom: Glad to hear Radar has a new home. Hopefully he can make Debbie proud with some good behavior. She'll be watching out for him no doubt!

I just knew the sox were going to win......and I live in florida!!! I'm not much of a baseball fan, but I knew for some reason they were going to win that one for DEB!!!! I just can't get myself to be a tampa fan, gotta route for the sox, I know it's what Deb would do :)
Good news about Radar, now he can be there for another young lady, Deb, I am sure would like to know he found a nice home!

Well, I have finally come to the conclusion that Debbie has made it all the way to heaven. . .

About a week after she died, I had a dream that she told me that she really wasn't dead and that I and everyone else was crazy for thinking that she was (sounds a little like Deb, doesn't it?). I told her that we had her down for July 31st, but if that wasn't right then we needed to change it.

Then, last Saturday night/Sunday morning, I had a dream that Debbie, her friend Ant and I were hanging out in her living room in California waiting for my mom to arrive from the East coast. Debbie was telling Ant and me about the way things worked in heaven, but she was talking to us as if she were still alive and with us. It seemed as though she was somewhere in between admitting that she was dead and making it to heaven.

Finally, last night, I went to sit down on the couch to watch Ugly Betty and noticed a penny on the seat. When my mother and I went to the medium last weekend, they mentioned something about "pennies from heaven" and how people in heaven drop pennies dated the year of their birth. At first I tossed the penny aside, but then went to get it after thinking about what the medium said. The date on the penny was 1972!

So, I just wanted everyone to know that Debbie has made it to heaven and will be an angel this Halloween. HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Debbie!

Holy cow, Amy! That gave me the chills reading this. I hope Debbie comes through for your mother this weekend.....I can't wait to hear all about it.
Happy Halloween!

Hi guys, This time of year always reminds me of sitting in the Reardon garage making paper flowers for the high school float. I think it was freshman year. Seems like a life time ago and just yesterday all at the same time.

Happy Halloween everyone!

AAAH, the dreaded paper flowers. Sure were a lot of work! Good luck, Mom, on hearing from Debbie tonight.

Deb came thru the psychic dinner last night. My roomate Helen's brother Gerry brought her along with several other people. She told the psychic that she was allright, she says I am mad at her because she hadn't visited in my dreams as yet.The psychic stated Deb told her I speak with
her every night and want her to come to me in my dreams, she told her she had come to me once but I don't remember it.She also asked if Deb had a problem with her stomach/bowels she was picking up she had that issue when here,I confirmed she did due to Chemo drugs she was taking, stated she wanted me to know she no longer had that issue. She asked what the significance was for the month of July, also if the name Theresa meant anything to me,my aunt Theresa is my mother,s sister who had passed away 1986 she was there with Debster.Needless to say I cried and will be doing the one on one with Maureen as soon as I can get an appointment...I love you Deb.and miss you alot......Mom

What an awesome posting! Dianne I'm so happy Deb came through. I believe Deb is cancer free now and her body is whole again, no more pain and suffering and who better to confirm it then Deb herself. I rarely remember my dreams and it makes me so mad sometimes. My husband lost his brother 16 yrs ago and has had many, many dreams about him, he always feels fortunate that he gets these visits (he likes to call them that)Deb is in a wonderful place, no doubt in my mind it's heaven and we will all see her again one day. She's going to be the first one to greet you and ask what took you so long!
My thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family,
Mary

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you heal. Cry a lot. It is normal. It is good for you.

My best beacons to you,
Bea

Another sign from Deb today. As I was driving my son to the dentist this morning, the car in front of us had the license plate
"July 31" - she's everywhere and watching over all of us!

Get out of here! Totally amazing....signs, signs, everywhere are signs!!! Deb....will you send me a sign? I sure would love to get one!!! Wouldn't we all! Love to hear about all the Deb "signs" keep 'em comin'

It was two years ago today that changed our lives forever-about 4 hours fom now. I can still hear the chaos in the ER when the Dr. came in to tell us. As if time stood still. I can still see the nurses crying by us...It didn't hit me until I saw the sign on the Oncology ward wall at the hospital. Thankfully, we all have had signs of crazy Deb somehow or somewhere. license plates, pennies from heaven, fans (she turned mine on & off for about 5 mintues-never did that before!), names on boats, etc. 24 months ago today, marked the most sacred journey with my dear friend Deb. Miss you Deb but I am glad you are giving all of us different signs you are still your goofy fun-loving self.
